John Woo hits up Warren Spector, we get Ninja Gold

Warren Spector is the man behind Deus Ex, certainly in the all-time videogame top ten. John Woo is behind The Killer – and many less than stellar offerings lately – but more interestingly John Woo’s Stranglehold, a very promising action game coming from Midway; also in a very promising uplift. These two men have now started collaborating on a ninja game.

Ninja. Videogame. Deus Ex. Woo. I love it when things sometimes come together. The game’s title is certainly preposterous enough.

Of course this is very much like when a new superband’s lineup is first announced. Enthusiasm without limits. Then egos clash and tediously generic substance comes out.
