The Kokoromi Collective held an intriguing videogame design contest titled Gamma 256. The challenge was to create a very low-res game, playable with an Xbox 360 pad. I don’t have one hooked up to the PC, but I do hope to get to sample many of these regardless.
If I wasn’t so busy playing videogames, I would’ve loved to come up with something into the contest. I’ve made a couple of low-res shooters, finding the creative limitations to actually make the design process easier. (Not to mention art.)
