Xbox 360 in Repair Adventures: The Ongoing Saga

Today UPS picked up my Xbox 360 for the third time to take it for repair, this time because the DVD drive’s motor just isn’t functioning. It might not close, it might not open, it makes a worrisome rattling noise upon moving. Now I’m hoping they won’t send me back another one of the ones scratching discs, like I had before this one. Seriously, unless there was a lot of other stuff (nice stuff!) happening in my life right now, I could be fuming and venting in frustration.

That said, I haven’t played with the thing for some time, being in deep with Final Fantasy XII on the PS2.

    Sure it’s had an effect; I probably would’ve shipped it off quite some time ago if I didn’t have other consoles available.
