It’s taken some time since the initial release of the XNA system, but finally it’s possible to get your very own code to run on the Xbox 360. Ed Dunhill’s step by step instructions make it sound so simple, I am very much tempted to give it a go. I will resist, though – while I find it cool beyond words to get my own stuff to run on different machines (cellphones, for example), I just don’t have the time. Not right now, at least, with the game reviewing gig taking up most of my spare time.
But I’m so tempted. The bastards even put in an example game to fool around with… argh.
